My story: why did I start blogging?

I started this blog as a side project back in April 2023 in an effort to share insights that I value, help others, build a community and develop my brand.

Introduction

I graduated from Penn State in May 2022, ending one of my life’s most challenging periods. I worked two jobs throughout my collegiate career and finished with a B.S. in Finance and a Real Estate Analysis and Development certificate. Because each semester was a new battle, academically and financially, I learned many lessons. RIght out of college, I got the opportunity to purchase my first home through leveraging the home equity line of credit and hard money loans. The house was a huge project, but through hard work alone, I could increase the value over 100% in two years.

The Real World

I developed a passion for mortgages, as I knew that having a knowledge on the financial instruments would make it easier to acquire real world assets. Now, I hope to empower others to make the same decision for their future. At the end of the day, a houses are assets, but you can choose and define your home.
